Born in 1987 to Ali Ömer and Asuman Devres, Murat Sahir came to life in Istanbul, Turkey. After spending two years in Bodrum, Mugla between 1997-1999, he and his mother moved back to Istanbul while his father began to work in Brussels. They both joined him the summer of 2000 in Belgium. He is living there now since ten years, whilst his parents live in Turkey since 2004. A student of history he is an amateur of many things including writing. He is fluent in English, French and Turkish and has basic knowledge in Arabic, Dutch and German.
